1. Data we collect
When you register we collect your name, email address, phone number, institution, optional CNIC/ID number, committee preferences, a delegate photograph and payment receipts you upload. Account credentials are handled by our authentication provider; we never store your password in readable form.
2. How we use it
Your data is used solely to process your registration, verify payment, allocate committees, issue your digital delegate pass and manage entry at the venue. We do not sell or rent delegate data to third parties.
3. Storage and security
Records are stored in an access-controlled database with row-level security. Uploaded photographs and receipts are kept in private storage and are only viewable through short-lived signed links by authorised organising staff.
4. Who can see your data
Access is limited to the RIMUN organising team in the roles required to review your application: accountants (payment verification), secretaries (application approval), check-in staff (pass validation) and administrators.
5. Retention and your rights
Registration records are retained for the duration of the conference cycle and a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. You may request a copy, correction or deletion of your data at any time by writing to info@rimun.org.
6. Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and to remember app installation preferences. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
